Welcome to the final update to the 2012 Clean Tech Calendar of events for southern California. This Calendar is provided by Green LAVA – the Strategic Interest Group of the Los Angeles Venture Association dedicated to exploring and explaining regional clean and green technology, business and trends.

 

Nov 27 – 28 – Always On Going Green cutting-edge green tech CEOs meet the movers and shakers from the biggest industries on earth. Green technology innovators are transforming the global energy, water, agriculture, transportation, construction, manufacturing, and resource recovery establishments. Golden Gate Club, San Francisco.

Nov 28 – The 2nd Annual Cleantech Revolution will bring together a diverse group of industry leaders in the automotive, cleantech, education, energy, finance, technology and utility sectors for networking and interactive sessions. In conjunction with Cleantech LA, PwC’s goal is to host a lively, current and thought-provoking seminar, while providing a forum to discuss industry issues and what to anticipate going forward.  Conga Room at LA Live, 8:30 AM – 3:45 PM

Nov 30 – First Annual CleanTECH San Diego International Showcase. As part of our Showcase series, the International Showcase will demonstrate clean technology opportunities abroad that are of significance to the region while promoting export/import opportunities, joint ventures and market expansion. Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace & Justice, University of San Diego, 4:00 – 8:00 PM

Nov 30 – Dec 9 – Los Angeles Auto Show – first hand introductions to the most important personal transportation clean tech products on the planet.  Los Angeles Convention Center

Dec 3 – 4 – Opal Events Clean and Green Energy Forum: Investing for a Renewable Future will bring together experts from throughout the country to discuss the most important topics in cleantech and greentech. Attendees will represent many of the nation’s pension funds, endowments, foundations, family offices as well as utility companies, federal and state government agencies, and energy-equipment companies. The event will also attract investment fund mangers who invests in the cleantech space.  Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel

Dec 4 – Are We Green Yet?  Sustainability & Clean Tech Opportunities  Clean Technology Council First Tuesday and Annual Holiday Party will feature keynote speaker Bill Burrato, CEO of Ventura County Economic Development Association and Chair of the Green Coast Alliance.  Bill will  present a comprehensive report on sustainability, renewable energy, funding and green jobs.  Westlake Village, 6:00 PM

Dec 11 – PortTech Forum presents Advanced BioCatalytics, Euler Hermes and one of PortTech’s client entrepreneurs will provide presentations on their technology, business operations and strategy.  Los Angeles Harbor College, 10 AM – noon.

Dec 14 – EV Sphere 2012 is a great networking opportunity for stakeholders and the general public to discuss the challenges and opportunities in electric vehicle industry, exploring options in solving the pollution problems caused by the use of fossil fuels with the internal combustion engines, while helping California to meet with the Zero Emission Regulation under AB32.  AQMD, Diamond Bar, 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
