Sandro Monetti to Emcee LAVA 30th Anniversary Celebration


Ultimate Hollywood insider Sandrohosting awards show Monetti is a leading British entertainment journalist, based in Los Angeles, who reports for the BBC and other major media organizations and has interviewed all of the biggest stars in the world, including George Clooney, Will Smith, Madonna and Paul McCartney. He is in big demand as a showbiz expert for TV shows & radio programs and as a host for awards shows and business conferences.

He is also a Director of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, Los Angeles, which seeks to celebrate and promote British excellence in the moving image, and the author of bestselling books Colin Firth: The Man Who Would Be King and Mickey Rourke: Wrestling with Demons.

Sandro spent a year as co-chair of Global LAVA, a role which inspired him to set up his own entrepreneurial projects, including creating LA’s top rated Hollywood tour on Trip Advisor, the Celebrity Insider Movie Locations Tour of LA.

His autobiographical one man stage show ‘Clooney, Cowell, Pitt and Me: Amusing Encounters with the A-List’ has performed to sold out theaters around the world. He is the writer and director of a multi-award winning short film parody of Les Miserables, called Miserable Lesbians, which he adapted into a stage musical that became a hit in New York and in London’s West End.
