John Dmohowski
John Dmohowski is a serial entrepreneur with 10 years of start-up experience plus 15 years of project management, cost administration and business leadership experience. He has successfully created and managed start-up operations in electronic media (Magnitude Networks), telecommunications (Transwire), an internet incubator (Visual Radio), online commerce (myShape), location based services (Yardmark), GPS mapping, geocoding and technology consulting firms (Drake Associates and Greenfield Associates). A proven leader in business formation, strategy development, fund raising, team building, planning and execution, operations and finance of technology based enterprises. Mr. Dmohowski has served as a mentor, advisor, and/or key executive in a dozen businesses and has been founder, investor or early team leader in businesses backed by $40+M of venture, angel and private investments. He is currently advising several green technology firms and serves as a Director for the Los Angeles Venture Association.

Eric D. Klein
Eric Klein has nearly twenty years of investment banking and professional experience. Before becoming an investment banker, Mr. Klein pursued a more entrepreneurial path, both as an operator and advisor. Since the early 1990’s, he has founded, managed or operated privately-held companies in a variety of industries including information technology, energy/utilities services, import/export, manufacturing, distribution and liquidations. His most recent position was Director of Operations for Alpha Industries, Inc., a Los Angeles-based manufacturing company. He has also advised Fortune 1000 companies such as BCBG MaxAria and TRW.

At Hunter Wise Mr. Klein’s portfolio includes corporate finance transactions as well as mergers & acquisitions for established middle-market companies. He maintains an extensive domestic and international network of financial and strategic investors. He is also involved in business development, project management and client relations. Mr. Klein has a particular interest in emerging growth companies involved in green technology/renewable energy, homeland security and healthcare sectors.

Prior to joining Hunter Wise, Mr. Klein was an investment banker with Camden Advisory Partners LLC, and Financial West Group, a FINRA member broker-dealer headquartered in Westlake Village, California. Before that, he was a Vice President at WestPark Capital, Inc., a boutique middle-market investment bank headquartered in Los Angeles. During his tenure at these firms he had the opportunity to be involved in a variety of transactions involving corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions (including reverse mergers) for public and private companies.

Mr. Klein holds a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Electronics Engineering/Manufacturing from ITT Technical Institute of Technology in Los Angeles. He has completed additional academic course work from UCLA in Business Management and Finance. He holds Series 7, 63, and 79 securities licenses, a member of the Los Angeles chapter of Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and the National Investment Banking Association (NIBA).

Paul Le Blanc
Paul is a co-founder and Managing Director at Pure Power Group. Prior to co-founding PPG, he was the
co-founder and President of Sunlight Planet, overseeing the firm’s financial and operational strategy. He is
also the founder and chief executive officer of October Financial, LLC, one of the most respected CFO and
financial advisory firms for growth start-ups.

Prior to founding October Financial, Paul was a vice president for a leading boutique investment banking
firm, principal of a financial and transaction advisory firm and senior auditor for a Big Six certified public
accounting firm. Paul brings a uniquely broad and sophisticated experience to Sunlight Planet, having been
a Wall Street equity research analyst, governmental agency financial manager, offsite strategic planning
facilitator, transaction advisor, board member and investment banker.

Paul has publications and is a frequent lecturer on business and sustainability topics, including speaking
on “The Challenges of Commercial Solar Project Finance” to the Provisors Green Affinity Group, a Los
Angeles based business networking forum; Guest Lecturer on “Writing the Business Plan” at the A. Gary
Anderson Graduate School of Management at U.C. Riverside; and co-author of “Diamond Multimedia and
the Rio: David’s Innovation in the Face of Goliath,” A. Afuah & C. Tucci, Internet Business Models and

Michael Miller
Michael spent fourteen years in corporate America with Bendix and Allied Signal corporations. Positions he held included divisional chief marketing officer, new product development manager, marketing channel manager, national sales manager, marketing communications manager and acquisition manager, . Since 1989, he has been in the consulting industry. Of Mike’s current clients, three are start up firms. He holds a B.S., Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University (Bethlehem, PA), and a M.B.A. from Loyola Marymount University, (Los Angeles, CA), and is certified by the Center for Creative Leadership (Greensboro, North Carolina) to conduct 360º leader assessment and development programs.

Frank Taboada
Frank Taboada, a Partner in the law firm of Sigman & Rochlin LLP, and Head of that firm’s Los Angeles office and Co-chair of its Corporate Law Department, is an entrepreneur and lawyer focused on providing expert business and legal advice to privately held companies and their owners. Frank has considerable experience performing in the role of “outside general counsel” for privately-held firms in all stages of development. Frank focuses his practice in the areas of corporate law, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions and finance. He has extensive experience handling sophisticated acquisition, divestiture, joint venture and investment transactions for local, national and international companies.

Andy Tomat
Andy was hired by Teradyne in the Fall of 2008 as the first head of Corporate Development to grow and diversify Teradyne’s business outside of semiconductor equipment through acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic partnerships. Areas of particular focus include Green Tech, Medical Equipment, Wireless and Optical Communication products.

Prior to Teradyne, Andy was the Sr. Director of Product Management at Peerless Systems Corporation where he led a team to deliver high performance color imaging products to market and enabled the company to become the 3rd best performer on NASDAQ in 2005. He was also with Peerless in the mid-1990’s where he helped coordinate their successful IPO.

As a consultant with the Adrenaline Group in Washington DC, he performed technology due diligence for a unit of NASDAQ (now FINRA); and in partnership with McKinsey & Co. helped a Nortel spin off (now Bill-Me-Later) re-position their online payment processing system to appeal to Amazon.com and Dell.

Andy has over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, finance, M&A, and new business development at large organizations like Canon and Perkin-Elmer, and as co-founder of several startups in the imaging space. He holds multiple patents in digital imaging and content management and has participated in various international standards groups.
